Tony Lyttle - Electrical Safety Training Services

Tony Lyttle, worked at BC Hydro for 35 years as a professional engineer before retiring in 1999. During that time he held a number of positions from commissioning engineer at Burrard Thermal to design engineer in distribution and transmission. He also was a scheduling engineer, assistant to the Chairman and finally Manager of Safety Engineering for BC Hydro.

Over, the years Tony set safety standards for BC Hydro, provided training to employees and served on many committees both national and international developing standards for safe High Voltage line work and equipment. In more recent times Tony has been an instructor in numerous safety courses for EITI (Electrical Industry Training Institute), including Fall Protection, HV Awareness, Emergency Preparedness,Underground Dig-Ups, and “Train the Trainer” syllabus for BC Firefighters Electrical Safety.
